If you're looking for a charity I think Eve University would probably be the closest thing to that in Eve. They'd probably use the ISK to help buy newbies ships and skill books and use him to help them make more ISK and defend the University when it gets war-dec'd. Heck maybe they'd give him to some promising graduate or something like that.
Personally I'd like him because I had the opportunity to start playing Eve over four years ago but decided not to because I was in High School and couldn't afford the money. Then a year ago I did the trial but didn't have the time to keep going. So I have three years of skills planned out and I'm kicking myself a bit for not starting four years ago even though I know it's not feasible.
I'd use Tvol to make money and learn the game better while my main trains up. I wouldn't use him exclusively by any means but he would be an introduction to a part of the game I'd never touch otherwise since this guy is going pure Caldari and shield tanking skills where at Tvol uses armor tank, mainly Amarr ships, and he's trained with lasers and ballistics.
I would also be using him to help crush Sansha's nation and put a stop to the recent raids. I'd never use him to go play pirate in low sec I'd either be in high sec running missions or helping people out or in null sec with a few friends doing fleet ops.

HAHAHA, yeah this thread makes me want to start a "people I would pod if given the chance" list.
I would be more than willing to ask a few of my more experienced friends if they know any good mercs.

Nothing in this game should be eating anyone up inside. I'm guilty of felony level "taking games too seriously" but they're still just games and I'm not going to lose any sleep over a lucky chance I came across while browsing the character bazaar for things I could never afford and I hope no one else is losing sleep over this either.

Most of the stories posted here are so imature..... my grandma is ill....my daughter would love to play...my account was hacked and lost my toon...WTF ? Some of you people just don't give 2 cents for this char you just want him so you can sell him in 2 days after getting him. Wake up. This is a man that would like to give his eve-work to someone that he sees will continue with what he was planing. Not pirating.. not(he will not have any lasers fittet) haven't you even look at the char? he is a perfect money maker. He is the perfect toon that anyone would love to have and some of you just are plain ....(you know the word).
Hope you get back from camping Tvol and make a good decision and be well in Real Life.
You are a great guy for giving this oportunity to us all.

I agree with Imperial here. I'd hate to see this toon change hands again because that would mean it didn't go to someone who was really going to appreciate it. I really do have to agree this guy is very well rounded and would be a great addition to any corp, or you could just solo missions with him. I think Tvol has made it fairly clear that he's not a pirate and whether I get his toon or not I hope to see him used with a degree of honor and dignity that many in Eve are missing. Heck, I hope this guy gets an account to himself at some point so he can continue to grow and become even more awesome =D (sadly I don't think I could pay for a second account just yet but it's definitely on my to-do list with or without this guy)

Honestly I think everyone here would rather one of the people who posted in this thread with a legitimate hope of getting the character got him. In the long run ISK is cheap but a character you've poured your blood, sweat, and tears into for years is priceless. I hope whoever gets your character (me or someone else) treats him well and gives him the respect he deserves.
There's also the rather unfortunate fact that a good chunk of the people who've posted here don't deserve forum access, let alone a share of 15b ISK. =/
Hope you and your family have fun camping, no rush here. This game will still be here when you get back from real life fun ^_^

I don't know if I'm in the running but I can provide character witnesses and some other bits of proof if need be =)
If I were you I'd go through here and create a list of all the people who made replies that meet your criteria and order them with number one being the winner, ect. Then search through the forums and see if you find anything that invalidates those people (or just in this thread for that matter) and the person highest up on the list who hasn't been crossed off at the end of things wins it =). You could also do some quick in-game checks to see who has minus sec status and such. Really if you put enough effort into it you can find a surprising amount of info out about people (or their Eve characters).
I'd love to receive this character and while I couldn't use him as a main (at least for training purposes) immediately I'd get him his own account ASAP. I know others have said it too but it'd be a shame and a half to let a character like this sit and stagnate. You can see the effort you put into the character in his skills and in the effort you've put into giving him away and that shouldn't end with you.
Anyways, if you decide to come back I hope whoever gets Tvol would be willing to give him back or (if you didn't want him back) give you some Iskies to help you get back into things. Failing that I hope you enjoy the rest of your life without this game. Enjoy the company of your friends and family and fly safe =) o7
